These pictures were created by designer/artist Marcel Ritschel between 1998 and 2002. They have their basis in digitized photographs as well as digital image manipulation.

(3) "There's a game out there, and the stakes are high. And the guy who runs it figures the averages all day long" (Trumbo, 1938). For the ensemble Pandora's Box * the artist made two configurable tectonic objects inspired by the symmetry of the classical temple and the equilibrium of the gothic cathedral. Who plays with a magic cube as if it were the universe? Who plays with Atomic power, Synthetic Biology, Artificial Intelligence, and Nanotechnology? The objects shown are splendid, but the figures are corrupt. If it's hubris, the world is out of whack and angels will fall with nothing more to say.
